KR turns 20 this year — a good time to pause and reflect on some of the milestones along the way. One of our favorites remains the robots project for the Museum of Mathematics in NYC. This video shows a few bots roaming underneath the glass floor that visitors (who interact with and become part of the swarm) walk on.
Considering we built this from scratch, more than 10 years ago, with a tiny, four-person team (plus just as many talented software developers at TBI, our partner company in NYC) is truly remarkable. This project also launched our highly successful KRM-3 product family, with the the KRM-3Z7020 at the core of the bots. Read more about the project.
