Based on AMD Zynq XCZU49DR
A compact, high end module that features the AMD RFSoC embedded in a most versatile design so that it can be optimally utilized in a multitude of applications. Only a 12V supply is required as all FPGA and RAM voltages are generated on board. Everything from power sequencing, configuration, and clock generation is implemented on board. The Dual 64-bit PL DDR4 RAM, operating at 2.4GT/s, provides the highest PL memory bandwidth of any currently available RFSoC module. Sixteen 28Gbit transceivers provide ample connectivity, on board dual QSPI and eMMC memories allow for a multitude of boot options and storage.

Only a 3.3V supply is required as all FPGA and RAM voltages are generated on board. Everything from power sequencing, configuration and clock generation is implemented on board. The KRM-3e Series is fully plug’n’play compatible to KRM-3Z7 Series modules.

The “Config done” pin indicates the ready state of the module. The KRM-3Z7 Series is fully plug’n’play compatible to KRM-3e Series modules.
Based on the AMD RFSoC DFE Ultrascale+ series
The RFSoC DFE family of AMD features an enhanced analog bandwidth of 7.125GHz, up from 6GHz on Gen3 devices and 4GHz of Gen1 devices. With the additional bandwidth, higher Nyquist zone applications become feasible. The DFE hard IP and Low Phy hard IP blocks such as Channel filter, DUC/DDC, MIXER, FFT and iFFT and several more, implement common functions in an energy efficient way. The balanced blend of hard IP and sizeable FPGA fabric with almost 500k System Logic cells and more than 1800 DSP Blocks, makes this family exceptionally capable in a broad range of wireless applications. Wrapped in our reliable system design and implemented in a very compact 65x75mm from factor, the KRM-2 SoM is the perfect choice for a quick and easy way to deploy this marvel of a chip.

Equipped with a AMD Zynq XC7Z010-xCLG400x component with Dual Arm® Cortex®-A9 and Programmable Logic based on 28nm. Module contains 2 instances of 256Mb x16 LP DDRIII RAM PS @1066MHz (1GB total).
