The KRM-6 RFSoC FPGA Module is based in the AMD/Xilinx XCZU49DR and offers 16CH ADC and 16DAC channels. Driven by the higher pin-count FPGA package, the module is slightly larger than our original KRM-4 SoM family. The extra space allowed us to incorporate ECC on both PL RAM interfaces, and the optimization of the connector pinning provides additional PL I/O. High speed data access is provided by 16 lanes of GTY transceivers at up to 28Gbs.
The module operates from a single 12V supply, and features the same housekeeping bus as all of KR’s recent FPGA SoMs, easing their integration into complex systems.
